Is Arena Club Legit? Derek Jeter's Slab Packs, Scored

Arena Club is a real company with real hobby credibility. Derek Jeter co-founded it, it runs its own grading service and vault, it has a Slab Pack partnership with eBay, and it closed a $10M Series A. It isn’t going anywhere.

It also has a 1.7 on Trustpilot, which is the first thing a lot of people see when they search for it. That number is misleading once you read the reviews behind it.

What a Slab Pack is

You pay from $50 and get a graded card that’s already sitting in Arena Club’s vault. The range covers sports, Pokémon and One Piece. You can keep it stored for free, ship it, or sell it back.

The buyback terms are refreshingly simple

Arena Club offers 100% of its estimated value, minus a flat 10% fee. So it’s a 90% buyback, and it doesn’t pretend to be anything else. Money goes to a wallet you can withdraw through Stripe. Out of every platform we’ve researched, these are the clearest buyback terms we found.

The catch is timing. You only have 24 hours after the reveal to accept. Miss that and the offer’s gone. Courtyard, Rips by Triumph and GameStop Power Packs all give you seven days.

A hobby newsletter that tested Slab Packs said the buyback paid out exactly as promised. It also said the packs lost money over the run, and that matches what reviewers on both Trustpilot and the app stores say.

That 1.7 on Trustpilot

There are only 35 reviews, and 85% of them are one star. Nearly all of the negative ones come from buyers outside the US. Their complaint is the same every time: shipping plus import duties cost more than the card was worth. Four international buyers said so between July and September 2026 alone.

That’s a real problem if you live outside the US. It just isn’t the same as the platform being dodgy. The App Store is 4.5 from about 6,200 ratings and Google Play is 4.2 from about 1,900, with people praising the app, the showroom and support.

If you’re outside the US, our advice is to plan on keeping cards in the vault or selling them back. Don’t ship unless the card is worth a lot more than the fees.

What’s missing

Arena Club doesn’t publish payout or shipping times. We found one report from August of a sale payout still pending after four days, when 1 to 3 business days had been promised. There’s also no provably-fair system. Its terms say odds are disclosed on the platform, but we couldn’t see them without an account, so we couldn’t check them.

Reputation averages the 1.7 on Trustpilot with the much better app-store ratings, from over 8,000 ratings in total. The strong Value score comes from the clean 90% buyback. Fairness and Payouts pull it down, mostly because Arena Club doesn’t publish things we can check, not because we found anything bad.

Should you use it?

If you’re in the US and want graded cards with no-nonsense buyback terms, Arena Club is a solid option. Set a reminder so the 24-hour window doesn’t catch you out.
