Community review guidelines

Reader reviews make the directory better. Here's how to write one that gets published.

What we publish

  • Your own, first-hand experience with the platform: what you bought, what you pulled, how cash-outs and shipping went, and how support treated you.
  • Honest reviews, good or bad. We don't favour positive or negative reviews, and platforms can't pay to remove them.
  • Specific details, like "withdrew $40 by PayPal and it arrived in two days", which are far more useful than "great site" or "total scam".

What we don't publish

  • Personal information, whether yours or anyone else's: names, usernames on other sites, emails, phone numbers, addresses or order numbers.
  • Accusations of crimes stated as fact. Describe what happened to you ("my withdrawal has been pending for 3 weeks"), not conclusions about people or companies ("they're stealing money").
  • Reviews you didn't write yourself, reviews written for payment or a reward, and reviews by staff, affiliates or competitors.
  • Links, promo or referral codes, spam, hate, harassment or threats.
  • Anything about how to get around age checks, identity checks or regional restrictions.

How moderation works

Every review is read by a moderator before it appears, which usually takes a few days. We may reject a review that breaks these guidelines, but we don't edit your words. You can submit up to 3 reviews a day and one review per platform every 30 days. Anyone can report a published review, and reported reviews are re-checked.

The community score

The community score is the average star rating from approved reader reviews on PackRipper. It appears once a platform has at least 3 approved reviews. It's shown separately and never feeds into the PackRipper Score or the Trustpilot and app-store ratings we aggregate. See the methodology for how all three scores differ.

Play responsibly

Pack opening is for adults (18+). If you're reviewing a platform because things went badly and spending feels out of control, free, confidential help is available in the US: call or text 1-800-GAMBLER.

Questions or takedown requests

Email contact@packripper.net. Platforms can use the same address to respond to a review or to flag something factually wrong. We'll look at it, but we don't remove honest reviews on request.
