Our take on Topps Instant Packs
Overview
Topps Instant Packs, launched in August 2026, are the closest thing to buying a real pack online. Each digital pack is drawn from a reserved share of an actual Topps print run, with the manufacturer’s odds and full checklist published. The raw cards go straight into your Fanatics Collect Vault.
There’s no buyback. You hold, list on the Fanatics Collect marketplace, or pay to ship. Packs cost $90–100, have daily limits, and have sold out quickly. This is separate from Fanatics Live Instant Rips, which are single-card repacks with a credit-only buyback.
How we scored it
- Fairness 2.5: no seed scheme, but full manufacturer odds (2) and the stability default. The underlying product is a standard sealed release.
- Payouts 2.8: no buyback; cash-out means a marketplace sale (with platform-wide ID-check holds), and 10–15 business days of fulfillment.
- Value 3.0: no buyback, so value depends entirely on the marketplace.
- Experience 5.5: a major, well-rated app, but no responsible-play tools found (capped at 6).
- Support 4.0: active replies, but a BBB F and shipping complaints platform-wide.
